Terumo Blood and Cell Technologies

Terumo Blood and Cell Technologies inaugurated a new $60 million, 20,000-square-meter manufacturing facility in La Lima, Cartago, Costa Rica, which will produce medical devices for blood and cell collection and separation. The plant will create 700 new jobs and increase production capacity of single-use blood collection supplies by 33%.

Terumo Blood and Cell Technologies will open a medical device manufacturing facility in Cartago, Costa Rica, with an investment of approximately $60 million. The facility will hire up to 700 people and reach full operational capacity in December 2022.
