Asahi India Glass and Vishakha Group plan solar glass plant in Gujarat
Asahi India Glass and Vishakha Group will jointly set up a solar glass plant in Mundra, Gujarat, with an initial capacity of 3 GW per year. The plant is expected to be commissioned within 18 to 24 months.

INOX Air Products commissions green hydrogen plant at AIS facility in Rajasthan
INOX Air Products commissioned its first Green Hydrogen manufacturing plant at Asahi India Glass Limited's float glass facility in Soniyana, Chittorgarh, Rajasthan. The solar-powered plant has a capacity of 190 TPA and will supply 95 TPA green hydrogen to AIS in Phase 1 under a 20-year off-take agreement.
