Kant Cement completes expansion project in Kyrgyzstan
Kant Cement commissioned a new production line at its plant in Kant, Kyrgyzstan, increasing capacity by 800,000 tonnes per year. The project was completed by Triumph Engineering with over US$60 million investment from the Eurasian Development Bank, creating more than 300 jobs.

EDB to finance gas turbine unit at Aktobe CHP plant for KZT 16 billion
The Eurasian Development Bank signed a KZT 16 billion loan agreement with the Aktobe CHP plant to finance construction of a gas turbine unit with a waste heat boiler, expanding capacity to 175 MW. Up to 120 jobs will be created during construction.
