UK corrugated box maker Sheard Packaging has invested £13 million in a fully automated Asahi flatbed die cutting line, Dücker pre-feeders and palletiser, and a Göpfert 5-colour HBL HQPP die cutter at its Halifax site.
Canpack has started commercial production of aluminum beverage cans at its greenfield plant in Stříbro, near Plzeň. The plant supplies Plzeňský Prazdroj and will produce about 1 billion cans a year, with an investment above EUR 100 million and over 140 jobs.
Canpack is starting a new investment in the Czech Republic, a can production line for one of the country's breweries, which will raise its production capacity by more than one third. The announcement is dated 16 September 2019.
