New-Indy JV Corp., a joint venture of the Kraft Group and Schwarz Partners, agreed to acquire Carolina Container Company, a corrugated packaging maker headquartered in High Point, North Carolina, including its CaroCon Display and Packaging division. The expected closing date was the end of January 2015.
New-Indy JV agreed to acquire Resolute Forest Products' Catawba paper and pulp mill in Catawba, South Carolina, which makes coated mechanical paper, specialty paper and market pulp. The deal is expected to close by December 31, 2018.
