Amperex Technology Limited

St George Mining entered into a $3 million joint venture deal with Amperex Technology, a global lithium-ion battery producer. Amperex will acquire a 10% equity stake in St George's subsidiary Lithium Star to fund exploration of seven hard rock lithium projects in Western Australia.

TDK Corporation announced the finalized details of a joint venture with Contemporary Amperex Technology (CATL) to establish two companies in Xiamen, China: Xiamen Ampcore Technology Limited (battery cell development, ATL 30%, CATL 70%, capital 5.0 billion RMB) and Xiamen Ampack Technology Limited (battery pack development, ATL 70%, CATL 30%, capital 1.0 billion RMB). TDK also approved a new subsidiary as a holding company.

TDK Corporation announced that its subsidiary Amperex Technology Limited (ATL) will conclude a cross-licensing agreement and establish a joint venture with Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited (CATL) to strengthen the medium-size rechargeable battery business for residential energy storage, electric motorcycles, and other industrial applications.
