MHI Vestas has finalised an order from Seagreen Wind Energy for 114 V164-10 MW turbines for the Seagreen offshore wind farm off Fife, Scotland, to be installed in 2021, with blades supplied from the Isle of Wight. MHI Vestas also signed a 15-year service and maintenance agreement for the project.
MHI Vestas signed a conditional agreement with Mitsubishi Electric Europe, with Shihlin Electric producing 66kV high voltage switchgear at its Hsinchu factory for delivery from 2022. The contract meets Taiwan's local production requirements.
