Nelipak completed its acquisition of Merrill's Packaging, which makes custom thermoformed packaging for medical device, pharmaceutical and life science applications. The deal was reported on December 8, 2025.
Nelipak Healthcare Packaging will initially invest at least $11.8 million to establish a flexible healthcare packaging production site in Winston-Salem, Forsyth County, North Carolina, creating at least 36 jobs.
Amcor signed a binding agreement to sell three former Bemis flexible packaging plants in the UK and Ireland to investment firm Kohlberg & Company for US$394 million cash, a divestment required by the European Commission. The plants generate about US$170 million annual sales.
