GE Power India Limited's board approved the acquisition of a 50% stake in NTPC GE Power Services Private Limited (NGSL) from GE Power Systems GmbH for Rs 72 million. The acquisition is expected to close by April 30, 2021.

The Board of GE Power India approved the acquisition of 50% equity shares of GE Power Systems GmbH held in NTPC GE Power Services, a 50:50 joint venture between NTPC and GE Power Systems GmbH.
