Yangchun Steel to invest CNY 470M in wire rod line upgrade
Yangchun New Iron and Steel Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Hunan Valin Steel, will invest CNY 470.43 million to upgrade its high-speed wire rod production line in China. The project is scheduled to begin construction in October 2025 and become operational by October 2026, adding 600,000 tons of annual capacity for industrial-grade wire rods.

VAMA to add coating line in Loudi for automotive steel
Valin ArcelorMittal Automotive Steel Co Ltd announced a 1.07 billion yuan ($165 million) expansion of its facilities in Loudi, Hunan, adding a new coating line to produce corrosion-resistant steel, increasing high-strength steel capacity by 450,000 metric tons per year, with operations scheduled for July 2022.
