Marel has acquired PMJ, a duck and geese processing specialist, to strengthen its focus on the global duck meat market. The acquisition combines PMJ's duck-specific technology with Marel's manufacturing and supply chain capabilities.

Marel has acquired PMJ, a Dutch provider of duck processing equipment, for an undisclosed sum. PMJ has 40 employees and annual revenues of around EUR 5 million. The acquisition adds PMJ's product portfolio of primary processing, waxing, and automated evisceration to Marel's poultry offering.
