Ferrero North America broke ground on a new $214.4 million Kinder Bueno production facility in Bloomington, Illinois. The facility will create 200 new jobs and marks the first time Kinder products will be made in North America.

Ferrero North America announced plans to invest up to $214.4 million to expand its chocolate processing and product manufacturing plant in Bloomington, Illinois, adding a 169,000 square foot line for Kinder Bueno products and creating up to 200 new jobs. Construction is projected to start by Fall 2022.

Ferrero North America announced plans to build a new chocolate manufacturing center in Bloomington, Illinois, its first chocolate production plant in North America. The $75 million expansion will add 70,000 square feet to the existing facility, with construction projected to start by spring 2021.
