Trelleborg's Industrial Solutions business area has acquired engineering group Signum Technology and its subsidiaries Gall Thomson, KLAW LNG, KLAW Products and Vee Bee Filtration. Signum makes safety-critical flow control products such as marine breakaway couplings and LNG transfer safety solutions.
Trelleborg's Industrial Solutions unit acquired Signum Technology, a Wiltshire engineering group making flow control and LNG transfer systems, with annual sales of about SEK 410 million. The deal was consolidated from July 10, 2019.
Signum Technology, backed by Phoenix Equity Partners, has acquired industrial filter and strainer maker Vee Bee Filtration of Stourbridge for an undisclosed sum. The deal was reported on 28 March 2017.
