Woodspin Oy, a joint venture of Spinnova and Suzano, and PUMA SE signed a non-binding Letter of Intent to secure access to wood-based SPINNOVA fibre volumes for several years. The companies will collaborate to develop products for PUMA's Sportstyle category.

Protect Pharmaceutical Corp announced an agreement to be acquired by PUMA, a polymer packaging corporation based in Dubna, Russia. PUMA plans to expand into food irradiation and packaging, including setting up processing plants in Vietnam and the Kuril Islands.
