Orbia Advance Corporation's Fluor & Energy Materials business is advancing construction of a larger-scale medical propellant purification plant at its Rocksavage site in Runcorn, UK, to increase production capacity for Zephex 152a (HFA 152a), a low-GWP propellant for metered-dose inhalers. Capacity readiness is targeted for mid-2026.

Alphagary, an Orbia business, is installing a new production line at its manufacturing facility in Altamira, Mexico, to produce PVC-based compounds for healthcare, food contact, and skin contact applications. The expansion adds 15,000 tons per year of capacity and is expected to be operational by Q4 2024.

Orbia's Building & Infrastructure business Wavin formally opened a new production plant in Grand Batang City, Indonesia. The facility will manufacture pipe systems for water management solutions.
