Thermex-Thermatron Systems acquired Florida-based JTE Machines, an engineering and automation firm for RF and material sealing. The acquisition expands Thermex's capabilities and makes it North American distributor for Oteman Advanced Cutting Technology.

JTE Machines, a provider of RF, ultrasonic welding, and automatic cutting machines for industrial fabrics, was acquired by Thermex on January 19, 2021. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Thermex-Thermatron Systems has acquired Jacksonville, Fla.-based JTE Machines, a designer and manufacturer of RF, impulse and ultrasonic sealers and distributor of industrial fabric cutting machines.
