Vertellus

Bercen, a division of Vertellus, is expanding its Denham Springs, Louisiana facility with a $17.5 million investment. The project will retain 55 jobs and create 8 new jobs, with completion expected by end of 2022 and full operations in Q1 2023.

Vertellus acquired Polyscope Polymers, a supplier of SMA copolymers based in Geleen, Netherlands. Terms were not disclosed.

Vertellus signed a definitive agreement to acquire ESIM Chemicals' intermediates and specialties division (IM Chemicals), a provider of specialty chemicals for pharmaceutical, coatings, and fuel & lubricant markets. The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals.

Private equity firm Pritzker Private Capital acquired the Vertellus group of companies, a specialty chemicals manufacturer.
