HVAC maker AAON will occupy the former American Snuff facility in Memphis, Tennessee, to produce data center thermal management equipment, investing $238 million and creating 828 jobs over five years.

AAON announced a $40 million expansion adding a 230,000-square-foot building to its Longview, Texas plant to increase production and coil capacity, with about 250 new full-time jobs. Groundbreaking is scheduled for July 18, 2023.

AAON will relocate manufacturing of its SA Series self-contained units to its Longview, Texas facility, investing $28 million and creating 125 jobs. The first expansion phase of 195,000 sq. ft. is due by October 2020.
