AES Corp signed an agreement on December 31, 2020, to sell its entire 51% equity interest in the 1,242 MW Mong Duong 2 coal-fired power plant in Quang Ninh province, Vietnam, to a consortium led by a US-based investor. The transaction is expected to close in late 2021 or early 2022.

SCHADE Lagertechnik GmbH will supply four Semi-Portal Reclaimers to Doosan Engineering & Construction for POSCO Energy's new 2,100 MW coal-fired power station in Samcheok, South Korea. The reclaimers have a capacity of 1,500 tph each and a rail span of 57 m.
