Huons received FDA ANDA approval for its 2% lidocaine injection 5mL vial, a local anesthetic, and is expanding production lines at its Jecheon 2 plant with a 24.5 billion won investment to increase vial and cartridge capacity.

Huons is investing about 24.5 billion KRW to add new vial and cartridge injection lines at its Jecheon plant in South Korea. The vial line capacity will increase 2.5 times to 73 million vials, and the cartridge line capacity will double to 71 million cartridges. Operations are targeted for Q3 2025.

Huons will invest 40 billion won ($36 million) to build a second plant for eye drops at BioValley in Jecheon, North Chungcheong Province, with annual capacity of 480 million units, to be completed by 2022.
