Battelle was selected as a prime contractor on the Defense Health Agency's Omnibus IV contract, a 10-year, $10 billion multiple award contract for medical research and development solutions for the Department of Defense.

Battelle has made a $1 million capital investment to establish an R&D-scale, high-temperature composite development laboratory focused on improving performance and manufacturability for advanced thermal protection systems.

Battelle has won a potential seven-year, $46.3 million contract from the U.S. Department of Defense to support the manufacture of thermal protection materials and carbon fiber composites for hypersonic applications.
