GE has clinched a deal to supply a 7HA.02 gas turbine to the Naepo District Heating Plant in South Chungcheong Province, South Korea, providing approximately 500 MW to the national grid and steam for district heating. The equipment maintenance service will last for 19 years. The plant will be built by Lotte Engineering & Construction.

GE has been awarded an order by Naepo Green Energy Co., Ltd. to supply power generation equipment for a new district heating plant in Naepo City, South Korea. The order includes a 7HA.02 gas turbine, steam turbine, generator, HRSG, condenser, and 19 years of maintenance services. The plant will generate approximately 500 MW of power and provide district heating.
