South African valve maker Paltech was appointed official distributor for Swedish valve manufacturer Meson Group in South Africa and select African countries, expanding its maritime valve offering.

Meson AB signed an agreement to acquire LK Valves, a marine flow control producer, including its production facility in Changzhou, China; the companies will merge under the Meson name.
