Heddle Shipyards

Heddle Shipyards acquired Fabmar Metals Inc., a fabrication and marine repair specialist, to accelerate the reopening of the Thunder Bay Shipyard.

Heddle Shipyards entered into a long-term agreement with Seaspan to fabricate Ontario-made ship components (ladders, gratings, handrails) for the National Shipbuilding Strategy. The project will generate tens of millions of dollars in economic activity and employ at least 50 workers.
