Aura Aero has received approval to begin construction on a new aircraft production facility at Toulouse-Francazal Airport in France. The 'Aura Factory' will cover 40,000 sqm, cost €150 million, and be capable of producing around 150 aircraft per year (50 Integral and 100 ERA). Construction is expected to take 30 months, with production start for the ERA aircraft planned for end of 2025.
Aura Aero has acquired French aerospace woodwork company Air Menuiserie, based in Bernay, Normandy. The acquisition aims to secure the Integral family business plan and preserve wood-carbon aerostructure know-how.
