Americold Realty Trust, the world's largest publicly-traded REIT focused on temperature-controlled warehouses, announced it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire privately-held Agro Merchants Group for $1.740 billion. The acquisition will expand Americold's footprint into Europe and add complementary locations in the US, South America and Australia.
