Etteplan

Kalmar, part of Cargotec, plans to transfer part of its crane engineering operations in China to engineering company Etteplan under a long-term agreement. Approximately 70 Kalmar engineering employees in China are expected to move to Etteplan, effective 1 January 2021.

Etteplan, an engineering services company, acquired Tegema, a Dutch production system integrator specializing in precision mechanics and mechatronics for semiconductors, electronics, mobility, photonics and medical sectors. The purchase price was not disclosed.
