Flacks Group has acquired Artemyn, a division previously owned by Imerys, which has 1,000 employees across 24 plants and the world's largest kaolin operation in Brazil. Flacks' pump maker Pleuger Industries will collaborate with Artemyn on mining products.
The Flacks Group, a US private investment group, has bought submersible pump maker Pleuger Industries from Flowserve, returning the Hamburg, Germany company to independence. Pleuger employs more than 200 people and plans further locations in the USA and Russia.
