Saurya Cement Industry has started test production of clinker and cement at its new plant in Karjanha Municipality, Siraha district, Nepal. The plant was built with an investment of around Rs 15 billion by a joint venture of Pioneer, Shanker Group, Ambe Group and Golchha Group.

Shenzhen Yitoa Intelligent Control Corp announced that its acquisition of 100% of Pioneer Micro Technology Corp from Pioneer Corp for 3 billion yen ($28.3 million) has been approved by the Japanese government. Pioneer Micro produces microchips and lithography machines.
