Balfour Beatty wins £47.5 million substation contract from SSEN Transmission
Balfour Beatty has been awarded a £47.5 million contract by SSEN Transmission to design and build a new 400 kV substation in Peterhead, Scotland, as part of the East Coast Reinforcement programme. Construction starts in late 2020 with completion scheduled for 2023.

NKT awarded €235M turnkey order for Shetland HVDC Link
NKT has been awarded a contract worth approximately €235 million by SSEN Transmission to deliver and install a high-voltage DC interconnector for the Shetland HVDC Link project. The order includes manufacturing and installation of 2x260 km of 320 kV HVDC power cables, with commissioning expected in 2024.

Siemens receives grid connection order for Dudgeon offshore wind farm
