Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Defense (JPEO-CBRND)

Smiths Medical partnered with BARDA and the Department of Defense to expand capacity at its Keene, New Hampshire facility for production of hypodermic needle and syringe products. BARDA will invest $20 million into a $38 million capital expansion project, increasing needle production capacity by 125 million units per year.
