Granite

Granite (NYSE: GVA) was awarded an $18 million subcontract from Swinerton for the University of California, Santa Cruz Kresge College Work Package #4. Construction begins November 2020 and is expected to conclude in early 2022.

Granite opened the Big Rock Aggregate and Asphalt Plant in Llan, California, capable of producing 11 aggregate materials simultaneously and recycling 134,000 gallons of water per hour. The plant serves northern and western Los Angeles, Ventura, Kern, and San Bernardino counties.

Granite Inliner, a subsidiary of Granite, was awarded five sewer renewal contracts totaling approximately $148 million by the City of Chicago for CIPP lining of sewers.

Granite has been awarded a $63 million Construction Manager/General Contractor contract by Caltrans for the Cosumnes Bridge Replacement Project (Child Project 6) in Sacramento County, California. Construction is expected from July 2020 to October 2022.
