Private firm Ak Hünji has started production of plastic sheets from locally-produced polypropylene using new extrusion machines. After commissioning, daily output will reach up to 2,000 tons.
The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development granted Ak Hünji a US $1.8 million loan in April 2020. The project envisages construction of a new production unit and purchase of polystyrene extrusion machines from Italy, enabling annual production of 1,200 linear meters of finishing materials.
