T/CCI Manufacturing will invest over $20 million to retool its Decatur, Illinois facility for electric compressor manufacturing, creating more than 50 new jobs and retaining 103 positions, backed by Illinois REV tax incentives.
T/CCI Manufacturing will convert a 200,000-square-foot former Borg-Warner factory in Decatur, Illinois into a center making cooling devices for electric vehicles, with more than $20 million of investment and 50 added jobs. The company will also set up a climate innovation center with Richland Community College.
T/CCI Manufacturing opened a 16,000 square-foot facility in Noida, India, to manufacture and distribute 5H and 7H wobble plate compressors for heavy-duty truck, construction and bus markets. The first year target is 50,000 units, rising to 300,000 by 2021.
