SIT Group is completing a new flexible packaging factory in San Marino, with four new gravure printing machines and a laminator, as part of roughly €80 million in investments. The factory is due to open in June 2020.
SIT, through subsidiary MeterSit, was awarded a smart gas meter contract by Italgas worth over EUR 14 million with a further EUR 5 million option, totaling EUR 19 million. The order is part of Italgas's 2019 meter roll-out.
