OM Materials (Sarawak) to expand ferrosilicon and manganese alloy smelting plant in Bintulu
OM Materials (Sarawak) is embarking on a phase two expansion of its smelting plant in Samalaju Industrial Park, Bintulu, adding two to four manganese alloy furnaces and converting existing ferrosilicon furnaces to produce metallic silicon. The project is targeted for completion by 2022.
