ABB to supply electrical and automation system for NCI cold rolling mill
ABB has been awarded a contract by Northern Copper Industry Co., Ltd to supply and install a complete electrical and automation system for a new four-column 20-high cold rolling mill in China. The mill will produce high-precision copper strip and foil with an annual output of 50,000 tons, with start-up scheduled for 2021.
