Toppan has acquired InterFlex Group, a flexible packaging converter with five production facilities in the US and UK, completing the deal on July 23, 2021. The purchase will establish a flexible packaging production network in North America and Europe.
Interflex Group has invested £1.5 million in new equipment at its Sunderland factory, which makes flexible packaging for bakery and snack food, to increase capacity by about 20%.
