Brunswick County

Brunswick County awarded two contracts totaling $129.1 million to upgrade and expand the Northwest Water Treatment Plant with reverse osmosis equipment and a discharge pipeline. Oscar Renda Contracting received the plant contract for $122.6 million.

Brunswick County received two bids for the upgrade and expansion of the Northwest Water Treatment Plant, which will double capacity from 24 mgd to 45 mgd and add low-pressure reverse osmosis technology. Ulliman Shutte bid $142 million and Oscar Renda bid $108.9 million for the reverse osmosis systems.

Brunswick County, NC commissioned Veolia Water Technologies to supply treatment technologies for expanding the Northeast Brunswick Regional Water Reclamation Facility in Navassa, NC.
