Akij Food and Beverage

Akij Food & Beverage Ltd. installed a new advanced production line at its factory in Dhamrai, Bangladesh, with an investment of around Tk 3.0 billion. The line started limited production of Frutika in November 2019 and will go into full operation in February 2020, tripling bottling capacity to 54,000 units per hour.

Akij Food and Beverage Ltd has established Bangladesh's first aseptic plant for fruit drinks at a cost of Tk300 crore in Dhamrai, Dhaka. The plant has a daily capacity of producing 12.96 lakh bottles of Frutika fruit juice and began commercial production on January 7, 2020.
