JA Solar Technology announced plans to invest approximately CNY 1.6 billion in four projects: 2 GW silicon wafer slicing in Ningjin, 2 GW slicing in Donghai, 4 GW solar cell production in Ningjin, and 3.2 GW high-power module production in Shanghai.

Rainbow New Energy (as supplier) and JA Solar Technology (as buyer) signed a strategic cooperation agreement for the supply and purchase of photovoltaic glass products and services, with an estimated total contract value of approximately RMB 2.1 billion, valid from March 18, 2020 to March 31, 2022.

JA Solar won a bid to supply 490MW of high-efficiency modules for Huanghe Hydropower Development's 3.1GW UHV Transmission Project in Qinghai Province, China.
