PetroH2O, Aquafortus' US licensee, entered a joint venture with Pilot Corporation to form Hyperion Water Technologies, with a $25 million commitment to deploy Aquafortus ZLD technology in the US oil and gas market in 2020.

Vygon Group announced its acquisition of Italian company Pilot, which specializes in ECG guidance devices for central venous catheter tip location. The acquisition includes the Pilot TLS product technology, which will be manufactured at Vygon's Medwin site near Montpelier, France.
