The Murtfeldt Group has acquired CarboFibretec, Wissler Technologie, and CarbonSports from the Wissler Group, relaunching them as carbovation fibre technologies. The companies, based in Friedrichshafen and Hailfingen, manufacture fibre composites and lightweight components.

Murtfeldt Group acquires majority stake in Carbovation GmbH
Murtfeldt Kunststoffe GmbH & Co. KG acquired a two-thirds stake in the newly founded Carbovation GmbH, which took over the business of Carbofibretec and Carbonsports (Lightweight brand) in Friedrichshafen, Germany, after insolvency. Around 80 jobs are to be retained.
