Kyte Powertech, the rebranded former CG Ireland transformer factory in Cavan, Ireland, has invested $5.26 million (€4.5 million) in new cutting technology, robotic welding, and state-of-the-art winding machines this year.

R&S Group agreed to acquire Kyte Powertech, a manufacturer of distribution transformer solutions, to broaden its geographic footprint in Ireland, the UK and Western Europe.
