SeAH Besteel

SeAH Besteel announced it will acquire 100% of Alcoa Korea, an aluminum materials company, for 76 billion won. The acquisition is aimed at diversifying into aluminum materials for aerospace, defense, and automotive sectors. The share acquisition date is December 31, 2019.

SeAH Besteel signed a contract with Orano TN to supply 17 spent nuclear fuel transport and storage casks for the US market. This is the company's first entry into the US nuclear power market.
