Mitsubishi-Hitachi Metals Machinery

The Competition Commission of India approved the acquisition by Mitsubishi-Hitachi Metals Machinery (MHMM) of the remaining 49% stake in Primetals Technologies from Siemens AG. After the deal, MHI will own 100% of Primetals Technologies.

The European Commission approved Mitsubishi Heavy Industries' acquisition of sole control over Primetals Technologies, a metallurgical plant designer, from joint control with Siemens.

Mitsubishi-Hitachi Metals Machinery (MHMM) agreed to acquire Siemens' 49% stake in Primetals Technologies, making MHMM the sole owner. Closing is expected by early 2020. Financial details were not disclosed.
