TRB and Toyota Tsusho America form joint venture for composite parts
TRB Lightweight Structures and Toyota Tsusho America announced a joint venture to produce high volume lightweight composite parts for electric vehicles in North America. The new location near Lexington, Kentucky will begin delivering composite battery enclosures in April 2020.

Toyota Tsusho and Modumetal form joint venture ModuTAI
Toyota Tsusho America and Modumetal signed a non-binding MOU to form a joint venture called ModuTAI, which will build a new production facility in Houston, Texas, to produce NanoGalv nano-laminated alloy coatings for industrial fasteners. The facility will increase capacity over 10 times to over 100 tons per month.
