Hota Industrial Manufacturing Co held a beam-raising ceremony for a new smart plant in the Chiayi Dapumei Precision Machinery Park, investing NT$4.2 billion (US$140.23 million). Production is expected to start by the end of 2021, supplying EV components for US and European clients.

Hota Industrial Manufacturing Co plans to build a third plant in Chiayi Dapumei Precision Machinery Park later this year, with an investment of more than NT$4 billion, to install 10 smart production lines for transmission products, expected to start operations in 2021.

Hota Industrial Manufacturing Co plans to begin construction of eight production lines at its two plants in Chiayi Dapumei Precision Machinery Park next quarter, with six lines at Plant 1 expected to be completed by Q2 2020 and two smart lines at Plant 2 installed next quarter.
