Supermax to boost glove production capacity to 44.1 billion pieces by 2024
Supermax Corporation Bhd plans to increase its production capacity from 21.75 billion to 27 billion pieces by December 2020 and to 44.1 billion pieces by 2024, with RM1.1 billion in capital expenditure over 4.5 years. New plants in Meru, Klang include Plant #12 (Block A by Q1 2020, Block B by H2 2020), Plant #13 by Q3 2021, Plant #14 by Q4 2022, and Plant #15 by Q1 2024.
