Mecal

The Voilàp group has finalized an agreement to purchase 80% of the share capital of Mecal, an Italian manufacturer of machinery for processing aluminum and light alloys. Full implementation is planned for the first quarter of 2020.

Hydro Components Ltd invested £9.6 million in refurbishing and reopening its manufacturing plant in Bedwas, Wales, including installation of four Mecal CNC machining centres to produce aluminium parts for electric vehicles.
